  • Gary Ball

    Gary Ball planted Redeemer Anglican Church in Asheville, NC, where he continues to serve as the lead priest. He is a practicing artist, a painter, who is uniquely equipped to minister in a parish that is home to many artists. Redeemer initiated a studio and gallery named Eikon that hosts four resident artists in West Asheville. Gary is married to Susannah and father to Flora, Elias, Karis and Francis. In addition to his role at Redeemer, Gary is the founder of Canterbury Classical School, a K-12 school in the heart of Asheville. Gary Co-Authored The Artistic Vision and hosts a podcast by the same name.

  • Alex Sosler

    Alex Sosler is Associate Professor of Bible and Ministry at Montreat College where he teaches practical theology, education, and issues related to church and culture. He also serves as Assisting Priest at Redeemer Anglican Church in Asheville, North Carolina. He is the author of Learning to Love: Christian Education as Pilgrimage and A Short Guide to Spiritual Formation, as well as editor of Theology and the Avett Brothers, and co-author of The Artistic Vision with Gary Ball. He also is a contributor to several books: Theology and Tolkein, Theology and Breaking Bad, and Theology and the Blues.
